NRCC FL-18

Democrat incumbent Patrick Murphy’s decision to run for Senate led to a hotly-contested battle for his congressional seat on Florida’s Treasure Coast.

His would-be successor, Democrat multi-millionaire Randy Perkins, spent over $6M of his own money to pull into an early lead in the fall, but our ads for the NRCC erased his advantage in a matter of weeks.

GOP candidate Brian Mast — a war veteran who lost both legs serving in Afghanistan – was vastly underfunded and faced a tsunami of negative ads from his opponent, but ultimately captured the seat for Republicans by ten points.

We helped him do it by driving a compelling, unmistakable contrast between the two candidates, highlighting Mast’s brave service while exploiting Perkins’ troubling record profiting off the misfortunes of local hurricane victims.

Our ads, unflinching in their prosecution of Perkins’ character, helped the NRCC pick up one of only two Democrat-held seats to switch parties in 2016.
